The quote makes sense about plagiarism, it is bad and it does prevent us from learning. If we takes someone else's work, how are we going to learn?
I think that this quote is true, because it takes the place of learning and puts stealing into account. The quote is true in when it is saying, "takes the place of and prevents learning." When someone does plagiarize, we don't really think about ourselves because we aren't really doing any thinking or any work for that paper or report or assignment.
